Have you ever been so excited to accomplish something then your thoughts creep in and start telling you all the reasons why you can’t and then you actually start to believe them?
I’ve been there before. What an amazing place to be… said, nobody. The reality is if you don’t think your dreams will ever come to pass, you’re 100% right. They will never. What you think is exactly what you’ll get.
If you don’t think you have what it takes to rise up and set a new standard, it’s never going to happen. The barrier is in your mind, it’s like being a prisoner locked up in jail. It’s a wrong thinking pattern that keeps us in defeat. That’s why it’s so important to think positive thoughts of hope, faith, and victory. Maybe somebody has spoken negative words into your life or somebody has told you that you just don’t have what it takes to accomplish that.
Do me and yourself a favor, go tell them to fly a kite… haha just kidding. Don’t accept, reject. Reject the lies whenever you hear them. Break through the limitations and focus on the amazing abilities you have within you. If God is for you, who dare to be against you?
What do you think about on a daily basis? When you wake you up where does your mind go? It’s important that you program your mind for success.
If you develop positive thoughts, your life will move in a positive direction. If you continually think negative thoughts, you will live a negative life. If you expect defeat or failure your subconscious mind will make sure that you fail and sabotage every attempt to push for greatness.
You must think positive thoughts of of abundance and victory. Each day, you must make a choice to live with an attitude that expects great things to happen to you. Never wait for the feeling to make it happen. It will never come. Make a choice and your feelings will catch up. Start your day with faith and set your mind in the right direction.
Go out expecting, expect to excel in all areas of your life and rise above life’s challenges. Believe God for a great future. You have great things coming.
Have you ever tried to be intentional about looking for your passion in life and then come up empty-handed?
So how do you find your passion your probably asking.
Well, ask yourself these 3 questions.
#1 What do I love? This will reveal the gifts and skills you possess. #2 What do I cry about? This is what your called to heal.
#3 What angers you? This is a clue to something you are designed to correct.
The answers to these questions will help you discover your true passion. Passion turns your “have-to’s” into “want-to’s”. What we accomplish in life is based less on what we want and more on how much we want it. The secret to willpower is what someone once called want to power. People who want something enough usually find the willpower to achieve it. You can’t help people become winners unless they want to win. Champions become champions from within, not from without.
If you could go anywhere, where would you go? Not in terms of vacations, but in your life. Your answer to that question does a lot to determine whether or not you’re successful.
We’re all on a journey. We are traveling inevitably toward the end of our lives. So the real question for us is whether we’re going to select a destination and steer our course for it, or allow ourselves to be swept along the tide, letting others determine where we end up.
The choice is entirely up to us. What specific destination are you staring your life towards? What MAP are you using to get where you want to go?
Where is your heart when it comes to serving others?
Do you desire to become a leader for the perks and the benefits? Or are you the motivated by a desire to help others?
If you really want to become the kind of leader that people want to follow, you have to to be servant-focused and servant-driven. If your attitude is to be served rather than to serve, you are headed for trouble.
#1 stop dominating people and start listening to them.
#2 Stop role-playing for advancement and start risking for others benefit. and
#3 Stop seeking your own way and starts serving others.
It is true that those who would be great must be like the least and the best servant of all. if you want to lead on the highest level you must be willing to serve on the lowest.
Isn’t a great feeling to see them smile? All people feel better and do better when you give them the 3 A’s. Attention, Affirmation and Appreciation.
The next time you make contact with people, begin by giving them your undivided attention during the first 30 seconds. Affirm them, show your appreciation for them in someway.
Then watch what happens. You’ll be surprised by how positively they respond. And if you have trouble remembering to keep your focus on them instead of on yourself, then remember what William King said “ A gossip is one who talks to you about other people. A bore is someone who talks about themselves and a brilliant conversationalist is one who talks to you about yourself.
“ Take time and give the 3 A’s today – Attention, Affirmation and appreciation.
